Homes for Sale in Placer Valley, Colorado

Climbing the eastern sides of Mount Bross and Lincoln, homes and properties in Placer Valley cover an exciting range of sizes and styles, all appropriately suited to the rugged and awe-inspiring surroundings.

While the acre-sizes of some properties extend well into the double digits, most fall between 0.5 and 1.5 acres. Given the steep, wooded terrain, you won't need much more space than that to take in the sweeping views, or to enjoy the surrounding wilderness.

Some homes in the area go back all the way to the middle of the 20th century, but updates, refurbishments, and modern builds provide the latest in comfort and utility for would-be buyers.

Homes in Placer Valley are well built within sturdy wood frames and stone or concrete foundations. Spacious floor plans provide flex and utility spaces, including lofts for extra beds or office use. Raw wood or log beams grace some interiors, while others are finished to look exactly like a typical luxury suburban home.

Updated kitchens feature stone counters, modern appliances, and efficient spaces. And the ubiquitous wood stoves and fireplaces are always handy as a backup.

One of the biggest real estate highlights of Placer Valley are the undeveloped lots, providing fantastic opportunities for buyers to construct their own Colorado mountain retreat.

More About Placer Valley, Near Alma CO
