For example, the district owns and maintains over 200 acres of recreational land, used for hiking, frisbee golf and as a general park. The land also contains a comfort station, lodge, pavilion, and playground.
A short distance outside of Indian Mountain, the district also owns 86 acres of land in Sportsmen's Ranch, including a 9-hole pasture golf course. The remainder of the land is partly used for vehicle and trailer storage.
Other Indian Mountain community features include a community center on Keneu Court (with a deck, hall, and lounge), and a gold panning park and picnic spot.
