Here's a simple process you can follow:

1. Review your credit reports.

The credit bureaus -- TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian -- are required to give you a free copy of your report once a year. All you have to do is ask. (Click the links to request a copy.)

Another way to see your credit reports is to use a free service like Credit Karma. (I'm not endorsing Credit Karma. I like it and think it's handy, but I'm sure other free services are just as useful.)

Once you've signed up, you can see your credit scores and view the information contained on the reports. Generally speaking, the entries on the different reports will be the same, but not always. For a variety of reasons credit reports are rarely identical.

Lost Creek Wilderness was officially designated by the Colorado Wilderness Act of 1980 with additions in 1993. Today it totals 119,790 acres. Elevations range from 8,000' to 12,400' above sea level. Lost Creek was named after a creek of the same name that repeatedly disappears undergound only to reappear again further downstream where it ultimately becomes Goose Creek.

Lost Creek is accessed by a 136 mile trail network, 105 miles of which are within the Wilderness boundary.  The trail system traverses tree-lined mountain parks, fascinating rounded granite domes, and rare granite arches. Black bears, bighorn sheep, deer, elk, and bobcats share the region. Vegetation includes ponderosa, bristlecone, and lodgepole pine, aspen, spruce, fir, and alpine

Buffalo Peaks Wilderness, encompassing 41,232 acres, was congressionally designated in 1993. It get its name from the thirteen thousand foot Buffalo Peaks located 15 miles southwest of Fairplay, Colorado. Elevations range from 9,200 to 13,326 feet from sea level. This area differs from other surrounding Wilderness areas by virtue of its high potential for solitude.

Conifers and aspens intermingle with rolling meadows of grasses and wildflowers. The fall color display is spectacular. The dark double summits of Buffalo Peaks are two highly eroded volcanic mountains that were active some 28 million years ago. These aspects offer wonderful experiences for all levels of naturalists.

Park County’s weather can change very rapidly.  From sunshine one minute to blowing snow with no visibility in just a few minutes.  It is not unusual to get ground blizzards with winds up to 70+ mph.  Sometimes we experience a high travel volume as the highway is a designated alternate route during closures of I70.  Additionally watch for wildlife on the roads as we have a very large population of elk, deer, antelope and a growing moose population.   Be prepared for our tricky and sometimes dangerous winter driving conditions.  Always check COTrip.org before making the drive up.

Well all you buyers and sellers, here we go again. The listing and early selling season is upon us. Listers should be calling to get scheduled for their listing time frame. You need to have your repairs done. You should start decluttering asap. If you need interior paint get-er-done. If you need exterior paint get it scheduled. Carpet in bad shape , replace it. It is truly important you put your best foot forward. Get the junk out of the yard! If you say( well just sell it as is) it  will cost you money and prospective buyers. If you are not able to get the property in shape then don’t blame the realtor for the pricing.  This is your investment, you have to get involved. If you just have a lot With “Stuff” on it, Evacuate the “Stuff”.

BRECKENRIDGE INTERNATIONAL SNOW SCULPTURE CHAMPIONSHIP - 2020

The 30th Annual Breckenridge International Snow Sculpture Championship will be held in Historic Downtown Breckenridge January 20th – January 24th. 16 teams from around the World will be transforming 20-tons of ice into hand carved works of art.

Admission is free and the venue will include a Children’s Event, Fine Arts and Winter Holiday Celebration. Public Transportation and off-site parking is available. The event will close January 29th at 7:00 PM and all sculptures will be taken down.
