Held annually in Fairplay since 1948, Burro Days celebrates the role of burros (donkeys) in early mining. Over 10,000 people participate in the festivities, including: World Championship Pack Burro Race, Llama race, pack dog race, parade, contests, Mountain Man Rendezvous, dance, BBQ and more.
